If you purchase a "full size" rack, that rack, plus any/all other products on the same order will be shipped freight prepaid ("Free Freight") to any COMMERICAL address within the "CONTIGUOUS 48 U.S. STATES". Items qualifying for "Free Freight" are clearly identified on our web site.
To ensure your satisfaction, large "Free Freight" products are palletized to prevent in-transit damage. These palletized loads must be delivered via common carrier. Common carriers charge a premium for delivery to a residential address. If you choose to ship a "Free Freight" product to a residential address, you will be charged $25 to cover the additional cost. A commercial address is defined as “a business open approximately 9:00am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday, that is located on a commercial thoroughfare”. So, to avoid the residential delivery fee, have your rack delivered to Aunt Sally’s Donut Shop.
When you check out, you will be asked whether the shipping address is residential or commercial. If you select residential, you will be charged the $25 fee. If you inaccurately select “commercial”, but in reality it is “residential”, TruckRacksPlus will charge your credit card an additional $25 or the actual residential premium charged by the trucking company, whichever is higher.
TRUCK RACKS PLUS DOES NOT PROVIDE "LIFTGATE" SERVICE. "LIFTGATE" SERVICES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RECEIVER. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE "FREE FREIGHT" POLICY EXCLUDES ANY SPECIAL HANDLING CHARGES THAT MAY APPLY TO ALL ORDERS.
